Challenge

Direct all marketing and sales strategy, product development, e-commerce build-out, brand, and digital marketing, and manage the marketing budget for a DTC / E-Commerce innovative infusion appliance brand distributing products across the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain.

Process

  • Manage internal team as well as partner with several agencies and freelancers, overseeing SEO, Performance Marketing, PR, Affiliate, Website Development, Graphic Design, CGI Design, and Social Media Partnerships.

  • Oversee global marketing campaigns in a 360 approach by utilizing Email, SMS, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tik Tok, YouTube, Reddit, online events, SEO, print ads, sponsored digital content, videos, FB/Google/Bing ads, podcasts, radio, influencers, giveaways, affiliates, direct mail, PR, and OOH/Billboards.

  • Champion the breakthrough trend and consumer-inspired innovation by identifying future product trends, packaging, and conceptual innovation, working cross-functionally with teams to grow from 10 SKUs to 70+ SKUs, including private label products such as cookbooks, baking mixes, flavored sugars, and cooking oils.

  • Measured the performance of all marketing activities and campaigns, assessed them against goals (ROI & KPI), and adjusting strategy and activities to achieve them.

  • Execute an accelerated growth strategy by developing the annual business plan and working with the leadership team to drive P&L results and accountability through the organization.

  • Lead the creation and delivery of content-rich marketing strategies across social media, digital (Online/SEM/SEO), blog, email, PR , go-to-market, loyalty, and delivery.

Key Achievements

  • Drove 5x+ growth exclusively through e-commerce and Amazon channels.

  • Expanded assortment with 6 new product lines and 60+ new SKUs, raising AOV 41% and LCV 32%.

  • Attained 30x growth of email subscribers to 600K+ through partnerships and incentives, turning the channel to 27% of topline revenue.

  • Launched SMS marketing, accounting for 17% of topline revenue generation in the first 4 months

  • Managed a customer service team of 5, resolving 1500+ tickets weekly and consistently scoring 4+ out of 5 in satisfaction while reducing ticket close time by 42% overall and 68% on Live Chat.

  • Coordinated internal teams and external agencies on all aspects of performance marketing, including Facebook/Instagram, Google, Bing, and Tik Tok, including overseeing an internal “content factory” generating TikTok viral videos with 1M+ views.

  • Created loyalty program, gaining 50K+ members in the first 6 months.

  • Received the distinguished “Colorado Companies to Watch” as well as the “Denver Fast 50” for being one of the local companies growing the most quickly.
